PREFACE
How prevalent is intelligence in our universe? First, at least among the living, 'Intelligence' as it is here on Earth has evolved to the extent to spawn the human species we know today.
My thesis is that Technological intelligence that we enjoy today is fundamentally rare in our universe. Humans have existed for tens of thousands of years until at some point in the not so distant pass, maybe several thousand years ago, we went from a tribal species to a co-op species giving birth to civilization. After eons of wars which developed probably greatly because of the evolution of our planet to to the movement of tectonic plates and the existence of water, our civilization was forced to develop concepts f reason and logic and raise the bar of civilization through the destruction of each other because of racial and cultural divides as well as the physical separation due the challenges of travelling great distances to discover new worlds across our oceans.
But there are also developments we have made in our intellectual understanding stemming out of our spiritual beliefs eventually, and painfully, to realize science itself. Then our science developed away from the spiritual and toward logic and reason. Our new knowledge in our scientific endeavors through hundreds of years depended greatly on discoveries man made through the incredible coincidences we were blessed with due to several factors, like the fact we were able to study the skies and our sun, moons and planets.
